Last year, in 2022, we celebrated the 8th edition of IDY presentially.
The celebrations were held at the Sports Centre of BOCA Juniors Club. Over 10,000 yoga practitioners joined the event together with famous artists.
Yoga sessions and workshops were also broadcast live during the days leading up to the final event where participants, Yoga and Ayurveda schools, artists and celebrities joined the Embassy to discuss Yoga, Ayurveda & Indian philosophy.
This year we will celebrate the ninth edition of IDY in person and we will strive to take the benefits of Yoga even further.
Argentina has an incomparable affection and respect for the culture of India. The love for Yoga is evident throughout the country, regardless of the size of the community. Several Indian Yoga institutions, promoting various forms of Yoga, have a substantial presence in Argentina with a large following.
I'm looking forward to Argentine Yoga practitioners participating more than usual in the IDY festivities on June 20.
